Summary
Tone Poet Tracker collects only what we need to run the site: account identity, your collection state, your ratings, and your private notes. We do not sell your personal data.
Data We Collect
- Account data: email address and basic profile info returned by your chosen sign-in provider (for example Google or GitHub).
- Collector data: your “In the Stacks / Wish List” selections.
- Ratings: performance and pressing ratings you submit (immutable).
- Private notes: text you save for yourself about a release.
- Operational data: limited logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
How We Use Data
- To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
- To store and display your collection, ratings, notes, and stats dashboard.
- To generate recommendations based on your collection and ratings.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service stable.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers required to operate the site (for example our database/auth provider and hosting provider) and when required by law.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase: authentication, database storage, and session management.
- Vercel: hosting and delivery of the web application.
- OAuth providers (Google, GitHub, Apple): used only when you explicitly choose a provider at sign-in.
Data Retention
We retain account and collector data while your account is active. You can clear your private notes and update your collection at any time.
Your Choices
You can use email/password sign-in or a supported OAuth provider. You can also request account deletion by contacting support, and we will remove or anonymize account-linked data where required.
